Hi Ward 1 neighbors and friends,
After a two-year hiatus, I’m thrilled to run for City Council again. In the meantime, I’ve stayed busy building community by serving as Executive Director for Lunch and Learn, leading the Blair Theatre Boosters, serving as PBES PTA VP, and continuing my work with the Girl Scouts. When I’m not volunteering, you’ll likely find me at Zumba or tending to my native garden.
What’s New?
I’ve rejoined our neighborhood listserv. While I still advocate for kinder online spaces, I’m back and ready to listen. Having lived here for over 20 years, I’m more committed than ever to our shared future.
My Commitment to You
Safety first: I remain passionate about pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure. Making Takoma Park safer for everyone, even if it means trading some parking for greener transit, is the ethical, sustainable choice for our environment.
Housing for all: We need more quality, affordable options. I’ll fight for Just Cause Eviction protections and champion "missing middle" housing like duplexes. Everyone deserves to live with dignity in our sanctuary city.
Finally, we need to grow our tax base through smart development. This way we can sustain the high-level services we all enjoy, advance the goals of our city, and respect our city employees with fair wages.
I’d be honored to have your support!
