The orientation will be a good introduction for anyone who is unfamiliar with or who is interested in learning more about the structure of our city government.
As a reminder, I will have office hours this coming Thursday the 12th at 2pm at Takoma BevCo. (6917 Laurel Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912). I will be sitting inside but if anyone is more comfortable outside I am always dressed for the weather and happy to sit outdoors.
If you are looking for MLK Day of Service plans, I will be at the Takoma Woods clean up. The morning clean-up is 10-to-Noon at Takoma Woods. Meet at the Darwin Avenue parking lot between Piney Branch Elementary and Takoma Park Middle. Bring gloves. Students can receive SSL credit. For more information contact Howard Kohn (kohn@erols.com).
